Prefers full to part sun and does well in most soil types. Grows up to 18” in height and blooms June, July and August.
Plants spread by rhizomes and can be aggressive in the garden. Great for naturalizing in meadows.

Ecological importance
Many butterflies are attracted to Yarrow nectar while numerous species of moths and beetles use the plant as a larval host.

Why Courtney loves it
There is something very sweet and dainty about common yarrow. It has a delightfully lacy flower and light, feathery leaves. I love that it shows up in the toughest of environments and shines.
